Comparison of the Effects of Different Treatment Methods Applied in Patients with Lateral Epicondylitis on Clinical Outcomes

Objectives: In our study, the effectiveness of steroid injection therapy, extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) and splint use in treatment lateral epicondylitis were compared.
 Methods: A total 97 patients (28 males, 57 females, mean age: 47 years) with a clinical diagnosis included study. The divided into three groups: ESWT (ESWT group), local group. Patients evaluated Visual analog scale (VAS) Disabilities Arm, Shoulder Hand (DASH) scores before after treatment.
 Results: decrease VAS DASH improvement compared to pre-treatment observed all groups. Better results obtained group that received peppering technique.
 Conclusion: this study show injection, application bandage may be beneficial short term epicondylitis. However, it was best technique, whereas least treatment.
